Hello Internet Peoples (aka: the 2 people who might actually read this),

I wanted to take some time to review a product that has seriously changed my makeup routine. Every girl needs a good liquid eyeliner and I've found mine-- Urban Decay's 24/7 liquid eyeliner.

My Rating:

(1 poor - 10 excellent)

Staying Power: 10

Color: 9

Finish: 8

Application: 10

Longevity: 7

Removal: 7

Overall: 51/60

In-depth review:

1. Staying Power:

I gave the staying power a ten because this liner could last me through a damn hurricane. I have worn it almost everyday for the last 2 months for an accurate review and even after an evening out and sleeping in it, the only place I saw it come off was the inner corner of my eyes. Did I mention it's waterproof???

2. Color:

I gave the color a nine. The only reason it wasn't a perfect ten is because it's not easy to matte out. There is a little bit of shine to the liner itself and it is possible to dab some black shadow on it and matte it, but it's tricky. The liner comes off almost in one big piece so if grips to your shadow brush you will end up pulling the liner off in chunks. Other than that, the black is a very strong color that stays.

3. Finish:

I gave the finish an 8, partially for the shine aspect in the color and partially for its drytime. It dries pretty quickly compared to MAC's liquid liner, but there are times I am still left with some upper lid accidents. The drytime, however, is completely manageable.

4. Application:

The application got a 10 because I really enjoy the wand that it comes with. The wand is long, which provides plenty of stability when you're trying to do those tedious cat-eyes or winged liner. The brush itself does not seperate or shed so it doesn't leave you with a ton of extra clean up with your lines.

5. Longevity:

I gave longevity a 7. The tube itself can be a bit deceiving, it appears from an initial assesment that the longer part of the tube would be where the liner is kept but instead the liquid is in the shorter side of the container. That being said, you still get some pretty decent use with this product. I use liquid liner almost every single day and with everyday use, I was able to get almost 3 good months out of one tube. It doesn't last me as long as some I've have before, but I feel like this product's other five positive factors outweigh this so-so one.

6. Removal:

I gave removal a 7, mostly for the fact that it comes off in almost one piece-- as I mentioned before. I find that it is best removed with a makeup towelette, but there is some necessary scrubbing involved. Overall, I wouldn't say it comes off easily, so I gave it a 7. (if you're like me, it's great because I don't want my liner to be easy to remove-- but for the purpose of this review I felt as though I should include it).
