Makeup MVP: NYX Jumbo Liner

Most of us have tried applying a bright color eye shadow, only to be disappointed by it's less-than-pretty appearance. Even some of the most pigmented shadows don't translate as bright to the skin as they do on the palette. So how do you get the full effect of those brightly colored shadows? I've got your answer.

I've had a few people ask me how to use this product after one of those 'get a box of beauty things once a month' companies included this in one of their boxes. So when I received NYX's Jumbo Liner in 'Milk' the other day, I used it during a makeup application for the Marilyn Manson show, and it's quickly become a favorite product. Seriously, look at all the crap you can do with this thing:

  1. Eye Shadow Base

  2. White Eye Liner

  3. Eye Brightener

  4. Under Eye Concealer

  5. Brow Highlighter

  6. Lipstick Base

  7. Lipstick Lightener

NYX makes these Jumbo Eye Pencils in a huge range of colors, so I think the white color is what confused some of you when you got it in your box. White eye liner is a cult makeup product that has been used by makeup professionals forever and once you start using it, you'll never go without it again! The other super neat-o thing about this product is that you don't have to be a fancy-schmancy makeup artist to get it-- you can get it at your local Target or Ulta.

If you aren't a subscriber to that 'get a box of beauty things once a month' club thing, then shop the look below or head up to Target or Ulta and get yourself one. Remember, you will need a large sharpener to sharpen this bad boy because it won't fit into a regular sized sharpener-- so don't forget to get one of those too!

Are you using your NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in another way? Let me know in the comments below!

XOXO
